The Bulk Edit function enables you to edit certain settings for multiple paddocks at once. Some common settings changed for multiple paddocks at once are Irrigation Type, Herd Allocation and Tags.
1. Select the paddocks for which you want to change settings. You can either click one paddock at a time and then click 'Select Paddock' or hold down the shift key whilst you left-click each paddock. In this case, we've selected four paddocks.
2. Click the long horizontal orange button below the map that says 'X Selected (Y ha)'. From the popup that appears after clicking that button, select the Bulk Edit button.
3. On the left-hand side is where you will see the settings you can change in bulk. Simply select from the corresponding dropdowns or fill in the corresponding fields. Common settings include:
- Irrigation Type (e.g. you may have several paddocks you want to set as Centre Pivot irrigation) - this allows you to filter your feed wedge to show just the Centre Pivot paddocks.
- Assign Tag(s) (e.g. you may have the southern half of your farm tagged as 'South') - this allows you to filter your feed wedge to show just the paddocks tagged as South.
- Assign Herd(s) (e.g. you may have a certain corner of your farm allocated to Herd A (that is, Herd A only grazes the paddocks in that corner) - this allows you to filter your feed wedge to show just the paddocks allocated to Herd A.
4. Click the green button Save All.
