Using Feedstuffs

Keeping a detailed list of your feedstuffs and their nutritional values is a fundamental management practice that transforms your farm from reactive to strategic. Accurate knowledge of energy (ME) and protein (CP) levels directly correlates to higher milk yields and better weight gain.

Head to the Feed tab at the top of your screen

Select Feedstuff

To Add a New Feedstuff, click on the green tab to the top right of your screen

This will bring up a new window

  1. Select the Group from the drop down list

  2. Give the Product a Name

  3. Maximum Feed kg/day/animal

  4. Amount utilised

  5. Enter in the Nutritional Values
  6. Save All

 

 

 

The nutritional values will be used when using the nutritional components in your grazing entries
