Using your Silos

In your silo you can record your delivery as a single product or mixed blends and their nutritional values. Accurate knowledge of energy (ME) and protein (CP) levels directly correlates to higher milk yields and better weight gain.

To Create a New Silo

  1. Click on the green Tab at the top right of your screen

  2. In the new window to the Left of your screen

  3. Give your silo a name
  4. Utilised 

  5. Maximum Feed (per animal per day)

  6. Click on Add Feedstuff (if Feedstuff not listed, you will need to create a new Feedstuff.  ADD LINK TO FEEDSTUFF )

  7. Enter the Name of the Feedstuff and the % of it in the mix

    Repeat this until you have all your Feedstuffs entered

  8. The Fed Mix Total should add up to 100%

  9. Save All

  10. Once you have saved all you will see the Nutritional values will have be populated from the Feedstuff created under the Feedstuff tab
